Meet Ed.

A true Texan with deep coastal roots, Ed Green’s connection to Port Aransas began long before the modern skyline took shape. Born and raised in San Antonio, Ed spent his youth fishing the local waters, eventually moving to the island in the 80s to work on charter boats and man the pumps at the old Texaco station—a spot locals now know as the neighborhood donut shop. After a successful chapter in Dallas—where he managed to convince his wife to fall in love with the island life just as he had—Ed began a strategic move back toward the coast. In 2016, he officially returned home to Port Aransas, where he has since become a deeply embedded community member and a proud father to a Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islander.

Ed’s professional foundation was built in the high-stakes foodservice industry, helping businesses scale and adapt through ever-changing markets. In 2021, he brought that tenacious "out-of-the-box" thinking to the real estate world, joining eXp Realty under Mel’s organization. As the first official member of The Island Life Collective, Ed has been instrumental in shaping the team’s culture of grit, integrity, and local expertise.

Today, Ed leverages decades of island history and a sophisticated business background to navigate the complexities of the coastal market. He doesn’t just find houses; he uses his unique perspective as a long-time local to ensure his clients’ island dreams are built on a solid foundation.
